Elon Musk fathered a set of twins with one of his executive staff members a week before his ex-girlfriend Grimes gave birth to his daughter.
The 51-year-old had the children with Shivon Zilis, the director of operations and special projects at his Neuralink company, according to court documents.
The twins were born in November 2021 with court documents showing that Musk and Zillis filed a petition to have the children’s name changed.
The petition was approved by a judge in Texas in May.
The world’s richest man has long advocated boosting the global birth rate and has become an example of just that, having nine known children.
Musk has two children with ex-girlfriend Grimes as well as a set of twins and triplets with ex-wife Justine Wilson.
And now another set of twins with Zilis.
Musk claimed last year that the world would “crumble” if there weren’t enough people on it.
“If people don’t have more children, civilisation is going to crumble, mark my words,” he said.
One of Musk’s children with his ex-wife has recently filed for name change in an attempt to cut ties with her billionaire father.
The 18-year-old said she did not want to be associated with her father in any way, shape or form.
Zilis has been reported as a rising star in Musk’s empire after she began working for the South African born businessman in 2016.
She was listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the venture capital category in 2015.
Musk is listed in the court documents as living at Zilis’s R66 million home Austin, Texas, according to Insider.
