Four people have died after the vehicle they were travelling in rolled several times and then crashed into the roof of a car dealership in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The four young men who died were from Limpopo. They were travelling in a BMW and lost control, rolled several times and then landed on the roof of a Toyota dealership near the M1 south on Empire Road in Johannesburg.
Three of them were students from Polokwane, while the other was from Mokopane in Limpopo.
Johannesburg EMS paramedics who responded to the scene said they found the white BMW 2 Series lying on its roof.
The four occupants were trapped inside the vehicle and were confirmed dead on the scene by the paramedics. The incident was handed over to the police and Johannesburg metro police department.
