The leader of Mayibuye Party Floyd Shivambu and his team celebrated King Misuzulu kaZwelithini’s fourth anniversary Lion Hunt.
Shivambu paid a courtesy visit to His Majesty Zulu King at kwaKhangela Amankengane Royal Palace on Monday.
He officially introduced his political party after he left uMkhonto weSizwe Party where he was removed as the Secretary General.
After his removal for his trip to Malawi to meet Bishop Shepherd Bushiri, he was then accused of trying to bewitch Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla.

On Monday he made a promise to work closer with traditional leaders including the Zulu King.
Their meeting comes as His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini completed the ancient Zulu ritual of hunting and shooting a lion, a ceremony that forms part of the sacred traditions required for a Zulu monarch’s rise to the throne.
The lion hunt is not only a test of courage but also a deep cultural rite, rich in history and symbolism. In the era of King Shaka Zulu, the hunt was seen as a show of strength, bravery, and leadership.
During an official courtesy visit at KwaKhangelamankengane Royal Palace in KwaNongoma, Shivambu presented His Majesty with the exact firearm used to shoot the lion in 2021, representing both remembrance and respect for the sacred tradition that crowned his journey to the throne.
