- The New York Times reports that Errol Musk faces allegations of sexually abusing children and stepchildren.
- Errol Musk denied the accusations, calling them “rubbish” and claiming relatives are lying to extort money from his billionaire son Elon.
Errol Musk, the 79-year-old father of Elon Musk, is facing serious accusations of sexual abuse from several of his children and stepchildren.
According to The New York Times, the allegations go back as far as 1993, when a four-year-old stepdaughter told relatives Errol had touched her. Years later, she said she caught him sniffing her dirty underwear.
Other family members accused him of abusing two daughters and a stepson. Police investigated three times, but two cases were dropped and the third remains unclear.
Errol denied the claims, calling them “false”, “nonsense” and “absolute rubbish”. He said relatives were making up lies in an attempt to extort his son Elon.
The Times based its report on personal letters, emails, interviews with relatives, court papers and police records.
Errol has at least nine children and stepchildren. The report claims he still has a strong hold over much of the family.
Some relatives have turned to Elon for help, and on occasion, he has stepped in. But Elon did not respond to the Times’ request for comment.
In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Elon described his father as a dark and disturbing figure who had done “almost every evil thing you could possibly think of”.
