A 35 metre-high sky pool has opened in London, and lets swimmers look at the city beneath them as they float between two luxury tower blocks.
The exclusive pool is situated next to London’s famous River Thames, so it boasts breathtaking views of the city’s skyline.
It is thought to be the first ever see-through pool built between two buildings.
And when residents fancy a break from swimming, the facility also has a rooftop bar, a spa and a private cinema.
While some on social media dreamed of holidays spent floating above London’s vast metropolis, others were less keen on the dizzying position of the pool.
One user simply wrote, “F**k, as they say, that.”
And some were even less keen on the pool’s exclusivity; it is reportedly only reserved for the tower blocks’ richest residents. Those with lower-end flats within the apartment blocks are barred from using it.
According to reports in the Guardian, these residents also have to enter the building through a different door to those who own a luxury flat.
One user wrote, “This is in my ward…in which more than half of children officially live in poverty.”
