The much anticipated album of 2021 is finally here, but Kanye “Ye” West is not happy.
On Sunday, Universal Music and Good Music released Kanye’s tenth studio album with 27 songs featuring over 25 music artists, ranging from a church choir to a-listers like Jay-Z and Jammie Foxx – including Pop Smoke who passed away last year, on the last song “Tell The Version”.
Even though it has received great reviews from the fans, Kanye is claiming the Universal Company put his album out without his permission.
“Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked jail 2 from being on the album,” read the image posted on Kanye’s Instagram a few hours after the album was released.
It is still not clear if Kanye is going to take any action against the publishing company, or if he even has the right to.
Meanwhile on the album which was supposed to be released on 24 July 2021, popular songs include “Hurricane” featuring The Weeknd and new age Hip Hop artist Lil Baby on track number five. The song makes it distinct from others as it features instrumentals which are similar to those of the good old “College Dropout” album days.
