As Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations get underway, rock band The Kunts have released a song for the occasion: “Prince Andrew Is A Sweaty Nonce!”
Known for their Christmas singles “Boris Johnson Is A F**king C**t”, and “Boris Johnson Is STILL A F**king C**t”, the band from Essex have now set their sights on Prince Andrew, said to be the Queen’s favourite son.
The disgraced Andrew was dragged into the public spotlight when he was accused by Virginia Giuffre of abusing her in 2001 when she was underage.
The prince denies ever meeting Giuffre, but in 2021 settled a lawsuit against him by agreeing to pay her damages of $10 million.
In 2019, Andrew gave a now notorious TV interview in which he claimed that he suffered from a medical condition which meant he could not sweat.
“The grand old Duke of York, he said he didn’t sweat. So why did he pay 12 million quid to a girl he’d never met?” sings lead singer Kunt.
“The timing this year felt perfect, given Prince Andrew’s bizarre, shameful, and cowardly behaviour as he attempted to dodge any sort of accountability for the alleged sexual assault on Virginia Giuffre, followed by the attempt to sweep it all under the carpet with an out-of-court settlement,” the frontman told NME.
“A Jubilee celebration has always felt like it could be a good chance to air any grievances one may have with our unelected head of state and her feckless offspring,” Kunt added.
“Prince Andrew Is A Sweaty Nonce” has climbed to 12th in the UK Trending Chart.
(A nonce is a person who has been accused of molesting a child).
In the days leading up to the Jubilee celebrations, it was widely reported that Andrew would be attending the service at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday. However, Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday that the prince had tested positive for Covid-19, so will not be participating.
The Queen was heard to breathe a sigh of relief.
