Kenyan politician George Wajackoyah says that if he is elected president he will export hyena testicles to China to generate revenue for the country.
Wajackoyah, leader of the Roots Party, said during his manifesto launch that Kenyans do not need the meat from a hyena and it was wise to export it.
“Chinese do eat that meat so we will export it to them,” he said.
Wajackoyah added that the hyena testicles are used for medicinal purposes, making them a high value product for export.
“It is said that a thousand male hyenas have about 2,000 testicles and that testicle is used for medicinal purposes in China. Its value is about Sh6 million (R800,000) which is much more than ganja, therefore, we will export the testicles,” he said.
Wajackoyah explained that exporting the hyena testicles will boost Kenya’s economy and in turn improve the standard of living across Kenya.
But the politician went one step further. He said he could also entertain the idea of exporting dog meat.
“One kilogram of dog meat is six times more than goat meat and Kenya is known for exporting goat and lamb to the Middle East. We will invest in exporting dog meat,” Wajackoyah said.
He added that the shoe-making industry has improved due to snake breeding.
“We are introducing snake farming in the country so that we can extract snake poison for the purposes of medication,” he said.
Some of Wajackoyah’s other planned ideas if he is elected include legalising marijuana, suspending the constitution and introducing the death penalty for those found guilty of corruption.
