Victoria Gonzalez, the Venezuelan girlfriend of world-famous DJ Black Coffee, is winning hearts in South Africa, and it’s not just because of her looks.
In a video posted by Black Coffee on Facebook, Victoria was seen joking with him in isiZulu as they sat on a private jet.
Instead of speaking her native Spanish, Victoria said “Ilambile”, meaning “I’m hungry”. Black Coffee then smiled and asked, “How much?” to which she quickly replied, “Kakhulu” – “very much”.
Victoria then confidently said the full line: “Ilambile kakhulu,” before switching back to Spanish and repeating it.
The video was quickly shared on X, where it went viral. Fans praised her for making the effort to learn the local language and embrace South African culture.
“Beautiful and respectful,” wrote one user. “She’s learning and engaging, love to see it.”
Black Coffee and Victoria have kept their relationship fairly private, but over the past few months, they’ve started opening up and sharing more glimpses into their lives together.
In June 2025, reports confirmed that the couple had officially made their relationship public.
