Following a decline in popularity of Ambitiouz Entertainment recording label, after an exodus of artists from the company, founder Kgosi Mahumapelo has signed its first amapiano artist.
18-year-old Supra from Parys in the Free State is the artist who has signed on to the dwindling staple.
Soon after signing Spura (no relation to the late amapiano artist Mpura), Ambitiouz announced she will be releasing her debut single “Amahloni”.
The song has received over 11,000 streams on Youtube since the audio version was released last Friday.
Even though it has only been a week since Spura signed with Ambitiouz, she has also managed to feature on Zuma and Reece Madlisa’s first single this year, titled “Megalo ” with Classic Deep.
With a voice like Boohle’s on the hit amapiano song “Siyathandana”, Supra might be the recipe Ambitiouz needs to get back at the top.
