An armed gang left staff at a petrol station in Tembisa traumatised before escaping with an undisclosed amount of money, after bombing two ATMs.
Before they blasted the cash points in Tembisa’s Tswelopele section, the men fired warning shots into the air and ordered petrol attendants and staff to twerk for them.
And the staff obeyed, doing the provocative dance with its thrusting hip movements for fear of being shot if they did not oblige.
Gauteng provincial SAPS spokesperson Lieutenant-colonel Mavela Masondo said police have launched a manhunt for the gang.
Despite the distress that the incident caused staff, the petrol station was operational on Tuesday.
