Radio and TV personality Anele Mdoda will be the sole host of this year’s Miss SA finale.

The pageant will be held on 13 August in the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria.

Mdoda said that having a venue filled to capacity will inspire her to perform to the best of her abilities.

“I’m very excited that we are back to a full capacity arena because a packed arena suits my energy levels and always motivates me to work just that little bit harder to ensure that everyone has a good time and really enjoys the evening,” she said in a statement.

The radio host has experience with the pageant. She has previously served as a judge and a co-host.

The top 10 contestants for the title are Anarzade Omar, Ayanda Thabethe, Itumeleng Parage, Keaoleboga Nkashe, Lebogang Mahlangu, Luvé Meyer, Luyanda Zuma, Ndavi Nokeri, Pearl Ntshehi, and Tamsyn Jack..

The finale will be broadcast live on Mzansi Magic 161 at 6pm on the day.

The competition will also be webcast on the Miss SA app for people globally. Organisers note that the event is being held during Women’s Month, so the finale promises to be a fun-filled event.
