Rapper and producer AKA seems to have confirmed paying lobola to fiancé Nelli Tembe’s family with an Instagram post displaying a simple emoji of a cow and a heart.
AKA – real name Kiernan Forbes – set social media ablaze when he posted a picture of a diamond engagement ring which revealed that his 21-year-old girlfriend has said yes to his marriage proposal.
A month later the rapper has paid lobola as the couple begin to plan their wedding which is sure to be a spectacle for all of South Africa to witness.
The couple began their journey to marriage nearly a year ago in May 2020. The 33-year-old rapper confirmed that he was dating someone who was not a celebrity and that he was enjoying every moment being with someone as private as Nelli.
Despite being engaged to one of the biggest rappers in the country, Nelli’s Instagram profile has remained private with little more than 7,000 followers. Fans of the couple will be eagerly awaiting more information on the wedding.
