Mykhailo Mudryk, the Chelsea winger, has responded to a frustrated fan’s criticism of his performances by offering a challenge to a one-on-one football match, offering £10,000 (R240,000) for the winner.
The Ukrainian player, whose journey at Chelsea has been characterised by brief moments of promise during periods of lazy play, received a direct message from the supporter questioning his football abilities and suggesting a need for improvement.
“What the f*** is going on with you?” the fan messaged Mudryk on Instagram, questioning if the player had “forgotten how to play football” and suggesting that “something needs to change.”
The exchange came in the wake of Chelsea’s defeat to Wolves.
Mudryk, seemingly angered by the comment, issued a challenge of a £10,000, one-on-one game with the fan.
The fan rejected the offer and said he would pay Mudryk for every goal he scored for the club instead.
The conversation was later shared on Instagram by the fan, known as Fedor Sneaks or Fedor Makarov, who has a following of 129,000.
Makarov, 20, provides a personal shopping service for celebrities, including past Chelsea players like Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, and Billy Gilmour, highlighting his connections within the football world.
