After dropping the music video of her latest single titled “Magear” featuring Mr Brown on Friday, 14 August, Makhadzi is heading for number one on the music video charts.
On the evening of 13 August, Limpopo came out tops when Makhadzi blew crowds away with her stunning performance at the Miss South Africa 2022 finale, where Ndavi Nokeri from Tzaneen in the same province was crowned Miss SA 2022.
But the performance on the “Magear” music video, which has a zombie theme, is taking her to the top of YouTube’s trending music chart.
Makhadzi, who just came back from touring in the United Kingdom, is currently sitting at number four with over 250,000 views and counting on the video streaming platform with the new music video which was released under the Openmic Productions recording label.
Meanwhile Lwah Ndlunkulu, who only released an audio version of “Ithuba” featuring Siya Ntuli, is still holding on to the music video of the song, after sharing the first clip of the music video, which was produced by Ofentse Mwase more than a week ago.
But that has not stopped the rising star from KwaZulu-Natal from collecting over 100,000 views with “Ithuba” in less than 48 hours on YouTube, where she sits at number five below Makhadzi on trending music charts.
