Social media was set ablaze on Thursday when amapiano king DJ Kabza De Small sparked up a feud with his long-time friend DJ Stokie, aka the Amapiano Superman.
Kabza De Small was apparently upset with Stokie after he had spoken ill of him during an interview on Kaya 959.
Stokie had told the interviewer DJ Keyez last Tuesday that a lot of his friends, including Kabza De Small, had turned their backs on him after finding fame.
“I ask myself ‘what did I do to them?’ because we used to spend time together back when we were hustling,” Stokie said to Keyez.
Stokie even made the bizarre revelation that he has at times left a woman he’s been in bed with to go to his friend of 15 years when he calls for help.
“Even now I can wake up for Kabza at 3:00 in the morning, [while I’m] sleeping with my woman, saying ‘Stokie I’m stuck somewhere’ I would wake up.”
“But I don’t get all those things,” said Stokie, after he revealed that Kabza De Small is the one who got him into producing music when he was only a DJ pushing the amapiano genre.
Kabza De Small did not take the comments lightly.
“Ungrateful n*** ba bonka ngeplate lamas**a (they are thanking me with a plate of s**t). I dd your first album bra yonke (all of it) n then dis is how u thank me I gave you hits Ai,” wrote Kabza De Small in a tweet that was deleted shortly afterwards.
