Limpopo’s dance music artists have certainly hit a winning streak this week, with Makhadzi and her musical rival, King Monada, both sharing impressive new life achievements.
It has only been a month since singer Makhadzi announced the big news of her new home which she bought after buying three houses for her mother, father and grandmother.
Now the “Matorokisi” hit maker has signed a whooping R120 million deal with Kicks sportswear brand.
“It’s a R120m signed deal, done and dusted. Future billionaire,” said Makhadzi, who will be working with the company to create Kokovha accessories and clothing which reflects the music artist.
The “proudly South African” brand was founded by entrepreneur Sammy Mhaule who is also the founder and managing director of SkyRule Drinks.
“#kicksfootwear kicked my poverty,” wrote Makhadzi on the caption of her picture with Sammy.
Meanwhile King Monada shared pictures of his new double story house on social media.
The two artists are reportedly patching up their fiery relationship, after their highly publicised spat over a song titled “Ghanama” in July.
The song featured both artists, but they fell out shortly before it was released. It was eventually released in two versions after the artists couldn’t resolve their differences.
