Have you ever wished you could go back in time to see legendary bands perform your favourite hits live?
Well, now your wish may come true. But not if you live in South Africa.
The Fugees – the legendary American Hip Hop group of the 1990s – had three members: Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Mchel.
They have not performed together for 15 years while they focused on their solo careers.
Now they will be teaming up again and visiting 12 countries around the world to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their iconic album The Score, with hits like “Killing Me Softly” and “No Woman, No Cry”. The Score is regarded as one of the most significant and groundbreaking albums of all time.
In Africa only Nigeria and Ghana will get to witness history being made by the trio this coming December. But, unfortunately, Mzansi was left out.
The tour was kick-started with a surprise popup show on Wednesday night in New York City. The main tour will get underway in Chicago on 2 November.
