Fans believe Zandie Khumalo-Gumede has just confirmed she’s open to sharing her husband with another woman.
The singer and younger sister of Kelly Khumalo had kept quiet for months after rumours that her husband, Mhlo Gumede, planned to marry a second wife.
Now, an Instagram post has everyone talking again.
“Not me writing a song that says ‘Soze ngama endleleni ye Njabulo yakho’ and a few moments later my husband introduces a lady called ‘Nonjabulo’ to me as my sister wife and his second wife,” Zandie wrote.
That was enough for fans to put two and two together and assume she’s finally confirmed the news.
The rumours first started last year. Reports said Zandie was open to polygamy and willing to welcome Nonjabulo Mdluli — said to be the niece of late Ukhozi FM presenter and Crown Gospel Awards founder Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule — into their home.
But when asked directly, Mhlo shut the door on any juicy details, TimesLIVE reported.
“I can’t comment on the Gumede affairs in the media,” he said. “I’ve never and will not stoop so low to make premature comments on my household.”
He said people should rather focus on Zandie’s new song.
