Georgia – Sebastian Kidder, the stepson of wrestling icon Ric Flair, has tragically passed away at the age of 24. Kidder’s mother, Wendy Barlow, confirmed to “TMZ” that he died by suicide on 26 October at their Georgia home. Police are investigating the incident. Barlow expressed her devastation, drawing attention to the mental health crisis affecting young men. Just before his passing, Kidder shared a final social media post from a recording studio, where he was pictured with his guitar. A budding musician and actor, Kidder had released his debut album, “Under The Moon*, and appeared in independent films and TV, including a role on “The Walking Dead”. In a June interview, he discussed his musical influences, which included Aerosmith, Maroon 5 and Michael Jackson.

UK – Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire has celebrated the birth of an eastern mountain bongo calf, a critically endangered species with fewer than 100 individuals remaining in the wild. The male calf, born to first-time mother Othaya on 16 October, is the first bongo born at the park in over a decade. After a lengthy labour, the healthy calf was seen standing in his straw bed. Both mother and baby are doing well. Sonny, the calf’s father, joined the park’s herd last year as part of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ endangered species programme. The calf is currently bonding with his mother indoors and has charmed keepers with his large ears and growing curiosity. The park hopes he may eventually join another wildlife collection to support further breeding efforts.

Sudan – At least 124 civilians were killed in an attack by Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), on the village of Al-Sareeha, south of Khartoum, activists and doctors report. If confirmed, this marks one of the deadliest events in the ongoing civil war between the RSF and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), who have both faced accusations of civilian killings since their conflict began in April last year. The attack reportedly injured over 200 people and saw 150 detained. Following the defection of an RSF commander in the Al-Jazirah region, communication challenges have hindered documentation of the true toll, as the RSF has confiscated Starlink devices. A local activist speaking anonymously for safety also noted that over 30 villages in the region have been abandoned as residents flee escalating violence.

US – Jamie Foxx recently addressed rumours about Sean “Diddy” Combs being involved in his mysterious hospitalisation last year during the taping of his upcoming Netflix special, “What Had Happened Was”. Audience members from the October tapings at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta had mixed recollections of Foxx’s comments. Videographer and producer Choke No Joke, who attended two of the three tapings, claimed that Foxx suggested Combs was responsible for his health scare and mentioned calling the FBI on him. Choke added that Foxx’s tone seemed serious, though it’s unclear if these remarks were intended as a joke or will be included in the final cut. Page Six could not independently verify if Foxx’s comments were meant to be funny or otherwise.
