It’s been only two weeks since Limpopo’s gospel icon, Dr Winnie Mashaba, gave birth to a baby girl – and yet she’s already back in shape and out on the road doing what she loves best.
Winnie, who constantly updated her fans on the progress of her pregnancy and the delivery, said she had already lost more than 10kg in just 19 days.
“Road to recovery 1st pictures after being Mama. Lost 12kg in just 2 weeks,” wrote Winnie on her Instagram with a few pictures as proof.
As if that was not enough to stress new mothers, she continued saying “I’m still praying for others to experience the joy in my soul”.
Fans envied her – one of them complaining that she had not shed a single gram in eight months since she gave birth.
Winnie is also back on the road gigging and doing interviews on radio and television. On Sunday she performed on Trace Gospel on DStv satellite television, before going to a radio interview on Lesedi FM.
