It took her less than four months to marry, divorce and marry again. And it happened so fast there wasn’t time to get another dress!
Scantily dressed entertainer, Skolopad, 37, born Nonhlanhla Qwabe, confirmed to Scrolla.Africa that she wore the same dress to both ceremonies.
“I loved the dress and didn’t see the need for a new dress for this ceremony. It was either that or I was going to walk down the aisle half naked,” she said.
The latest ceremony was attended by a few close friends and family due to Covid-19 regulations.
She explained that jealousy and long distance saw herself and her first husband – whom she married on 6 March – drifting apart and she found love and comfort in the arms of her new husband, known only as Spider.
She said when love is no longer served you must move on with your life and seek happiness elsewhere.
“Why must we endure being in a relationship where we are both no longer happy. I saw the red flags and decided to move on while I still could,” she said.
“Even with my current marriage if things don’t work out I will divorce and move on.”
Over the weekend she hosted a divorce lunch at Pitseng Tse Setsho in Bethlehem serving patrons in her red bathing suit with a blue apron covering her front and offering patrons massages between serving at the tables.
“Most of those in attendance were men but women were also present. I am a silent partner in the restaurant and when I am off work as a nurse I serve my clients half-naked and they never complain,” she said.
She lashed out at people on social media who criticised her choice of outfits, saying she had a beautiful body and was not about to stop showing it off.
