Residents in parts of Cape Town are bracing for water supply interruptions due to planned maintenance work starting on Tuesday, 26 August.
The City of Cape Town has announced that several areas will be affected, including high-lying areas in Khayelitsha, parts of the CBD, Mountview Estate, and Sun Valley.
The water cuts are scheduled to take place from 9:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday, with some areas experiencing low water pressure or no water at all.
The maintenance work aims to upgrade and assess the water supply network, ensuring a more efficient service for residents.
Affected areas should prepare accordingly and plan ahead to minimise disruptions.
The City of Cape Town has apologised for any inconvenience caused and assures residents that the work is necessary for the overall improvement of the water supply system.
