South African star Tyla turned heads when she appeared at her first Chanel show in Paris this week.

The 22-year-old Grammy winner from Cape Town stole the spotlight in a modern twist on a classic Chanel outfit.

For the 11 March show, Tyla wore a strapless bustier with tiny shorts inspired by the famous Chanel tweed set. The outfit featured exposed stitching and bold statement buttons, honouring Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic 90s designs.

Instead of the traditional long suit jacket, she added a cropped bolero draped over her shoulders, giving the look an effortless cool vibe.

Tyla’s fashion journey has been gaining momentum alongside her musical success. She dazzled in a sparkling LaQuan Smith dress at the Grammys and looked stylish in YSL at Milan Fashion Week.

Just days before her Chanel appearance, Tyla made history as the first South African artist to grace the cover of British Vogue.

With her Grammy win for ‘Water’ and her growing international fame, Tyla is quickly becoming more than just a music star.

Her front-row appearance at the prestigious Chanel show signals that the fashion world has welcomed her unique style.
