- Tyla was carried out of a São Paulo party by security after collapsing, hours after performing at the H&M launch in Brazil.
- Sources close to her confirmed she was safe, saying she had simply overindulged and was not in danger.
Grammy-winning star Tyla collapsed at a party in São Paulo, Brazil, late on Thursday night.
The Water hitmaker was seen being carried out of the venue by security and placed into a black SUV while cameras flashed around her. She appeared limp and unresponsive in the video that quickly spread online.
Earlier in the evening, Tyla had performed at H&M’s Brazil launch alongside Anitta and Gilberto Gil. On stage, she looked well and energetic, telling the crowd: “Too many people lying on my name.”
By Friday morning, those close to her confirmed that Tyla was fine. They explained that she had overindulged at the after-party and was never in danger.
People in her circle also said Tyla found the video amusing, despite the clip raising concerns online.
Tyla has not commented publicly but is said to be safe and in good health.
