The date has finally been set for the release of the music video for singer and guitarist Mduduzi Ncube’s inspirational single, “Langa Linye”.

Big Zulu’s recording label Inkabi Records announced the music video will drop on Friday.

The single, which features rapper Zakwe and poet Zamoh Cofi, received rave reviews from fans of the Afro-Pop singer Mduduzi when the audio version of the song was released in October.

Mduduzi’s breakthrough into mainstream came after he sang what later became his debut hit song, “Malokazi”, in front of DJ Tira’s recording studio Afrotainment in Durban two years ago.

DJ Tira was so impressed that he brought along singer Berita to feature on the song, an act which propelled “Malokazi” to becoming a favourite on local radio stations.

Two years later, Mduduzi has released hit singles like “Isginci” featuring Big Zulu in 2020 and “Putsununu” featuring Q-Twins last year – both released under Inkabi Records, which has turned him into a star performer.

Meanwhile the recent single “Langa Linye”, which translates into “One Day” in Zulu, is a unique offering from Mduduzi. The song was constructed using a Gospel chorus from him, which is followed by a hip hop verse from rapper Zakwe and a bold stanza from the poet Zamoh.
