- Former soccer star Teko Modise has moved out and deleted all social media photos with his wife Koketso after three years together.
- The couple tried to save their marriage but will now focus on co-parenting their child while Koketso holidays in Italy.
Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Teko Modise and his wife, Koketso, have separated after three years of marriage, with the soccer star reportedly moving out of their Johannesburg home.
The couple, who had a traditional wedding in 2021 and often shared their relationship on social media, have now deleted all photos of each other. Koketso has also reverted to using her maiden name on her social media accounts.
“They make a cute couple, but sadly, the relationship has run its course. Maybe in the future, but right now, I think they both need to be apart from each other,” a source told ZiMoja.
Despite efforts to save their marriage, sources say the relationship couldn’t be repaired. The pair have agreed to continue co-parenting their child.
Koketso appears to be moving on, enjoying a holiday with friends in southern Italy.
“She continues being fabulous and living it up,” the source added.
Neither Teko nor Koketso have commented publicly on the split.
