Actress Stephanie Ndlovu has revealed she initially rejected her now-estranged husband Hungani because she thought he was too young for her.
This comes just days after the couple announced their divorce earlier this week.
In a 2022 video on their YouTube channel Ndlovus Uncut, the couple spoke honestly about their marriage struggles.
Stephanie shared that when they first met, she didn’t think Hungani was right for her because of their age gap.
She was so convinced he wasn’t the one that she even tried to set him up with her cousin instead.
“I didn’t think he was right for me because he was younger,” Stephanie admitted in the video.
But Hungani had different ideas and knew very early that Stephanie was the woman he wanted to marry.
He told his cousin just three months into their relationship that Stephanie was the one.
The couple also opened up about their marriage troubles and even talked about their past thoughts of divorce.
Those divorce thoughts have now become a reality with their announcement earlier this week.
Stephanie turned 34 in October 2024, and Hungani celebrated his 31st birthday on 19 June 2025.
Their age gap, which once worried Stephanie, seemed to be just one of many challenges the couple faced.
