Stanley Nwabali, the goalkeeper from Nigeria who plays for Chippa United, has two international clubs who are after his signature.

Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that the goalkeeper is a wanted man.

Nwabali, 27, has caught the attention of many because of his excellent skills in goal for both his club, Chippa United, and his national team, Nigeria.

His standout performances during the recent Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon), where he kept four clean sheets throughout the tournament, stood out to teams abroad.

Romano mentioned that Al Ettifaq from Saudi Arabia and Queens Park Rangers from the United Kingdom have both made inquiries about Nwabali.

Chippa United is reportedly open to discussing Nwabali’s future and might consider selling him if they receive a good offer.

“Stanley Nwabali is being watched by clubs abroad. Al Ettifaq in Saudi and Queens Park Rangers in the UK have asked about him,” Romano shared on X, formerly Twitter.

“Chippa United, his club in South Africa, will think about his next move in the months ahead.”

Nwabali has impressed in his 16 league games this season, managing to keep seven clean sheets and conceding only 15 goals.

His performances have placed him among the top goalkeepers in the league, just behind Ronwen Williams of Mamelodi Sundowns and Darren Keet of Cape Town City in terms of clean sheets.
