Sonia Pule is ready to take her business, The Marula Cheesecake Passion, global after finalising her divorce from football legend Matthew Booth.
The couple’s marriage ended because Booth allegedly cheated, with the divorce finalised on 28 June 2024.
Speaking to The Citizen, Pule confirmed the divorce and said she is now focusing on taking her business worldwide.
She started The Marula Cheesecake Passion brand after publicly dealing with her marriage problems.
The brand’s name came from social media calling the scandal “CheesecakeGate” after Booth allegedly baked a cheesecake for his mistress in their home.
The Marula Cheesecake Passion has received good feedback, leading to four product ranges, including five different liqueurs, within five months of its launch.
Pule said there is major interest in sending the product to Brazil.
The product line includes alcoholic ice cream, alcoholic frozen yoghurt, and five liqueurs in flavours like clear salted caramel, butterscotch, rose, and raspberry.
Pule mentioned that all products under the brand have hints of marula and cheesecake with a special “love potion” ingredient.
