Sniffer dogs in Germany might be used to detect the coronavirus.
After weeks of training, German scientists say the dogs “can smell the biochemical processes and the changes caused by the virus”, Al Jazeera reports.
The study included eight dogs, and was run by the German army and the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover.
Similar tests are now being done in the United Kingdom, France and Finland.
