Radio and TV personality Sizwe Dhlomo believes rapper Cassper Nyovest’s rise to the top is all thanks to God.
This comes after Cassper’s latest hit single “Kusho Bani” topped the charts, gained millions of streams and got international recognition.
Taking to X, Dhlomo said: “Cassper’s success is actually ordained by God. I’ve seen him time and time again triumph in adverse circumstances! Always pulling a rabbit out of a hat.”
Cassper has faced a lot of hate from critics, socialites and even people in the music industry, but he keeps bouncing back stronger each time.
Some people recently accused him of paying tennis superstar Serena Williams to endorse him. But Dhlomo wasn’t having any of it and stepped in to defend the rapper.
Not everyone agreed with Dhlomo’s take. One person commented: “Nah, dawg… Cassper ain’t ordained by God. Last time he dropped a hit, AKA was still breathing.”
Others, however, backed Dhlomo and praised Cassper’s work ethic and creativity.
“Like his music or not, dude is definitely a trendsetter!! He is gifted,” said one fan.
Cassper has not responded to the online drama, but it seems like he’s letting his music speak for itself.
Podcast host MacG claimed Cassper Nyovest’s career is dying, saying the rapper is “washed” and should quit music.
In response, Cassper announced on X that he will book another Fill Up stadium show to “restore order” and prove his critics wrong.
