Popular actors Hungani and Stephanie Ndlovu have quietly ended their marriage after six years together.
The couple, who first met on the TV show Scandal!, have reportedly split on peaceful terms and agreed on a private settlement.
They have not revealed what led to the split.
According to News24, the couple’s relationship could not be saved. Even though they haven’t shared details, some believe the stress of modern life and major life changes may have played a part.
A 2023 report by the Human Sciences Research Council shows that more people who have been married for more than five years are now getting divorced — often due to pressure from everyday life.
Hungani and Stephanie got married on 23 February 2019 in a small garden ceremony. Fans loved their on-screen chemistry, and even more so their real-life romance.
Their social media pages were full of sweet and happy moments from their marriage.
While the public may never know the exact reason for their split, many people have pointed out how fame and being in the spotlight can put pressure on a relationship.
Still, it seems the pair are handling things with maturity.
