- Singer Makhadzi told fans at her album launch in Johannesburg on Sunday that she has found a new Tsonga boyfriend.
- The star also told young women to work hard for their own money instead of relying on men for support.
Singer and dancer Makhadzi has found love again. The 29-year-old star, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, shared the news on Sunday, 29 March 2026.
She spoke at the launch of her new album, Big 30, in North Riding, Johannesburg.
Makhadzi was previously in a relationship with Master KG but said she had been single for a long time. She said she loves love and did not want to end the year without a partner. Makhadzi met her new boyfriend in Malamulele. She said he told her “I love you” and she said it back to him.
The singer told the crowd that her new partner is from the Tsonga tribe. Her new album has 30 tracks. She said the music shows her journey as she gets close to her 30th birthday.
Makhadzi also had a message for women at the event. She told those who rely on men for money to focus on their own success instead. She said young women should work hard and stay focused on their goals.
The star became famous in 2019 with hits like Matorokisi. She is well known for her energetic dancing and her mix of Bolobedu and Afro-pop music.
