- A week after surgery, she said swelling had reduced and praised the surgeon for understanding her body goals.
TV presenter Shamiso Mosaka has joined the growing list of South African celebrities getting plastic surgery.
The 29-year-old daughter of veteran broadcaster Azania Mosaka flew to Turkey to get a Brazilian butt lift. The operation was done at the Mono Clinic in the city of Izmir.
Shamiso, who hosts shows on MTV Base, shared her experience on social media after the clinic posted her transformation.
“I got to meet my surgeon. He wanted to do what I wanted to do on my body so we had the same vision for the results that I wanted,” she said in the post, TimesLIVE reported.

The clinic shared a video showing her recovering in bed, with her new body shape already taking form.
The Brazilian butt lift, often called a BBL, is a procedure that transfers fat from one part of the body to the buttocks to create a fuller look. It has become a popular choice among influencers and celebrities around the world.
Shamiso gave fans a health update a week after the surgery. She said the swelling had gone down and she was feeling much better.
“Just over a week post-op. Swelling has gone down so nicely,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
