- Shaka iLembe actress Luyanda Zuma has secured a place in the Miss South Africa 2025 Top 10 finalists announced this week.
- Zuma will compete at the grand finale in Pretoria on 25 October, judged by Ndavi Nokeri, Liezel van der Westhuizen and Devi Sankaree Govender.
Fans of Shaka iLembe will recognise one of the biggest names in this year’s Miss South Africa line-up. Actress Luyanda Zuma is officially part of the Top 10.
The Miss SA Organisation revealed the finalists on Tuesday, along with news that the pageant is changing its format. Instead of beginning with a Top 30, the competition will start directly with the Top 10.
Another major change is the end of Crown Chasers, the behind-the-scenes reality show that used to track contestants on their journey.
Zuma, who rose to fame through her acting role, will now compete for one of the most prestigious titles in the country.
She will be joined by nine other finalists at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on 25 October for the grand finale.
The judging panel includes broadcaster Liezel van der Westhuizen, former Miss South Africa Ndavi Nokeri and veteran journalist Devi Sankaree Govender.
Organisers promised “glamour, power, and history in the making” when the next Miss South Africa is crowned.
