Social media personality and actress Bianca Coster has officially become a rugby wife after marrying DHL Stormers star Wandisile Simelane in a beautiful traditional wedding.
The couple celebrated their union with family and close friends during a colourful ceremony that honoured both their Swati and Xhosa cultures.
Videos and pictures from the celebrations quickly spread across TikTok and other social media platforms, where thousands of people congratulated the newlyweds and admired the traditional celebrations.
The wedding featured traditional music, dancing, singing and colourful cultural clothing worn by both families.
Guests embraced the occasion by wearing traditional Swati and Xhosa outfits, while performers entertained the crowd throughout the celebrations.
The venue was decorated with large white marquees, elegant crystal chandeliers and traditional woven baskets that reflected the couple’s cultural heritage.
One of the standout moments was when Bianca and Wandisile sat together in front of a green backdrop decorated with woven baskets and their initials, “WB”.
Bianca wore traditional Swati attire as she celebrated with family and friends through song, dance and laughter.
The couple are reported to have dated on and off for about three years before deciding to take the next step in their relationship.
According to reports, Simelane raised the idea of marriage earlier this year, leading to successful lobola negotiations before the traditional wedding was held.
Bianca, 31, has built a strong following as an actress, model and digital content creator.
She has more than 230,000 followers on Instagram and is well known for her role in the television drama Isitha: The Enemy.
She has also appeared in several advertising campaigns and continues to grow her profile as one of South Africa’s rising entertainment personalities.
Her husband, 28-year-old Wandisile Simelane, is one of South African rugby’s talented backs.
He currently plays at centre for the DHL Stormers after previously representing the Lions and the Bulls.
Simelane has also worn the green and gold for South Africa A, making him one of the country’s recognised professional rugby players.
The couple’s traditional wedding has been widely praised online as a celebration of love, family and South Africa’s rich cultural diversity.
Many social media users described the ceremony as elegant, joyful and proudly African, with others wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness together.
Although the couple have kept much of their relationship private, their traditional wedding has now become one of the most talked-about celebrity celebrations on social media this week.
