It’s been a bumpy ride, but Ehostela and Gomora actor Ernest Msibi is finally off the marriage market.
Ernest who is also an ex Yizo Yizo actor married his long-time girlfriend and fiance Nana Zondi at a glamorous wedding in Greytown, KZN.
Nana, a businesswoman from Durban who owns Nozimanga, told Scrolla.Africa people thought they would break up.
“It’s been a bumpy road. People thought we would break up,” she said.
“We have a child together and we sat down and planned that we must take our relationship to another level.”
Ernest and Nana publicly announced their relationship during an event where Ernest paid full lobola and asked for her hand in front of her family late last year.
Nana said she was sorry her father had passed away.
“But his teachings about being a wife are still with me. I’m managing all his affairs as we were blessed with a child last year. I’m still in his corner,” she said.
Ernest said: “I love my woman. I felt it was time to do the right thing.”
Speaking to the couple, Bishop Makamu advised the couple not to allow families and friends to come between them.
“Now that you are husband and wife, the only best friends you have are each other,” he said.
“Once you start having your so-called friends involved in your marriage, that will be the end of this beautiful union,” said the bishop whose reputation is marred with controversy after he allegedly asked for sexual favours from a congregant.
The wedding was attended by their close friends from Generations: The Legacy actor Ronnie Nyakale, Former Zone 14 actors Spinach and Popeye, and Kwaito artist Tzozo among others.
