Water (original and remix): The EP opens and closes with the original and remixed versions of Water.
Tyla’s voice, displaying both sensuality and smoothness, pairs perfectly with the track’s vibe. Travis Scott’s addition to the remix is surprisingly fitting; his unique vocal style adds a fresh dimension to the hit.
Truth or Dare: This track serves as a wonderful sequel to Water, maintaining Tyla’s signature style. The song goes into themes of love and fame, questioning the sincerity of a lover in the face of her rising stardom.
Butterflies: Here, Tyla switches gears with a lo-fi, guitar-driven track, highlighted by warm bass and her angelic vocals. Similar to SZA, this alternative R&B song is simple yet charming, focusing on the complexities of a dishonest romantic relationship.
On and On: The EP returns to danceable rhythms with this track, featuring a supernatural instrumental backdrop. It’s a song for grooving, offering an intimate experience enhanced by Tyla’s lush vocal performance.
