Real Housewives of Durban‘s Nonku Williams says she’s found a new kind of marriage – with Jesus.
In a new trailer for season 5 of the hit Showmax show, Nonku first says she’s single but quickly changes her mind.
“In fact, I’m not even single. Let me just rephrase that. I am not single. I am married. I am married to Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour,” she says.
The trailer shows Nonku reading her Bible and praying for guidance about past mistakes.
Season 4 ended in chaos when Sorisha Naidoo stormed out of the reunion show, refusing to speak to Jojo Robinson and Nonku again.
The drama split the housewives into two camps. Sorisha teamed up with Slee Ndlovu, Ameigh Thompson, and Angel Ndlela, while Nonku joined forces with Jojo, Maria Valaskatzis, and Zama Ngcobo.
For the new season, Nonku, Sorisha, Jojo, and Angel are coming back. Showmax hasn’t said who else might join the show.
“This season, the cast dynamics have shifted in unexpected ways, offering a new look, feel, and energy that will keep you hooked from start to finish,” Let It Rain Films executive producer Sam Kelly told Current Affairs ZA.
The Real Housewives of Durban is South Africa’s longest-running show in the Real Housewives series. It follows the glamorous lives of Durban’s wealthy women.
Fans can watch seasons 1-4 on Showmax while waiting for season 5’s release date.
