Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford was involved in a car accident after Saturday night’s away win against Burnley, but nobody was hurt.
Rashford was part of the squad that returned to their Carrington training base by bus. However, from there he made his own way home by car, which is when the accident took place.
The car, a Rolls Royce, was pictured in a significantly damaged condition after it hit a light post on Manchester road near Carrington.
According to The Guardian, emergency services attended to the scene but the 25-year-old did not require any medical attention and no arrests were made. No other cars were involved.
“Three points on the road! I’m alright guys thanks for the messages,” Rashford wrote on social media on Sunday morning.
The England international played all 90 minutes of their win at Turf Moore in which Bruno Fernandes scored the winner.
Rashford and United next take on Crystal Palace in Carabao Cup action at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
