Ramaphosa makes Mzansi ‘sweat’

President Cyril Ramaphosa has taken the #WaterChallenge by storm, busting moves to Tyla’s Grammy-winning hit “Water” on Tuesday.

At 22, Tyla’s making major waves in the world of music, clinching a Grammy for Best African Music Performance.

After her win at the glitzy 66th Grammy bash in LA, back in Mzansi Ramaphosa showed off his dance skills at the presidential youth engagement in the Western Cape, proving leadership comes with rhythm in South Africa.

Tyla’s “Water” isn’t just a song, it’s a national treasure — making waves from social media to the presidential house!

Some South Africans however were not impressed with the president’s congratulatory message to Tyla.

Ramaphosa posted on X that he had “woken up” to the news of Tyla’s Grammy win — at 9.25 am.

The comment section was filled with South Africans asking what time the president started work if he only woke up at that time.

Later in the day, Ramaphosa had a video call with Tyla to further congratulate her on her triumph.
