- Speaking at a men’s forum, Prince Nkinobho Zulu told men to stop turning to suicide and alcohol when facing relationship struggles.
- He called on men to respect women, fight crime, and choose lifestyles that build dignity instead of causing regret.
Prince Nkinobho Zulu has told men that suicide is not the answer when facing rejection by wives or girlfriends.
The prince was speaking at a men’s forum in Phongolo on Friday, organised by traditional leader Mavuso.
He said suicide only brings suffering to families and does not solve problems. “It brings bad luck in the family that needs serious rituals to be stopped,” he said.
He urged men to fight gender-based violence by respecting women and making better choices. “No man deserves to die just because his lover has decided to leave him,” said Prince Nkinobho.
He also warned against alcohol abuse, saying it fuels the abuse of women and children. He called on men to choose a clean and responsible lifestyle.
“As a man, if you focus on expensive clothes while you do not even have a place to sleep, you are wrong. If you choose alcohol and drugs, you will lose your self-esteem and may end up hurting innocent women,” he said.
The prince told men that respect in communities comes from fighting crime and living with dignity, not from wealth or fashion.
“Wearing expensive clothes does not make women love you. A man must be clean and respected to get attention,” he said.
