- Shauwn Mkhize launches luxury weekend packages in Eswatini starting at R6,000 after the Royal AM scandal.
- Packages include flights, luxury accommodation, football match tickets and five-star dining experiences in Mbabane.
Shauwn Mkhize is bouncing back from her legal troubles with a luxury travel business in Eswatini.
The businesswoman announced on 18 August that she is launching the Mam’Mkhize Weekend Experience in Mbabane from 29 to 31 August.
Packages start at R6,000 and promise guests the chance to “live the MaMkhize lifestyle” with five-star food, luxury rooms and tickets to watch her new team Mbabane Highlanders.
This comes after Mkhize bought the Highlanders, calling it her chance to rebuild after major setbacks.
Earlier this year, she was caught up in a fraud scandal that cost her assets and her South African club Royal AM.
Mkhize still faces a legal battle in Eswatini where former Highlanders officials have taken ownership issues to the High Court.
Her new venture offers four packages. The Gold Package costs R14,210 per person and includes king suites, return flights, match tickets, after-party dinner at Ocean Cuisine and a replica jersey.
The Silver Package costs R11,600 per person with queen suites, flights, match tickets, after-party dinner and a replica jersey.
The Bronze Package is R10,500 per person with standard rooms, flights and dinner at the after-party.
The Road Package costs R6,000 per person and includes luxury road transport from Johannesburg to Eswatini, standard room accommodation, match tickets, after-party dinner and a replica jersey.
