Kanye West, who calls himself Ye, has gone off on another antisemitic rave, saying on a radio show he loves Hitler and the Nazis.
And he has once again been suspended from Twitter, this time by his “close friend” Elon Musk.
Musk said that he had tried his best to avoid the suspension, but West had violated Twitter rules by tweeting an image of a swastika superimposed over the Star of David, leaving the billionaire no choice.
In response to the image Musk texted Ye: “Sorry, but you have gone too far. This is not love.”
On Thursday Ye went on another antisemitic tirade when he appeared on Alex Jones’s Infowars show.
During the show, he appeared alongside white nationalist Nick Fuentes and repeatedly talked about his love for Hitler and the Nazis.
“Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler. I see good things about Hitler also,” he told Jones.
He praised Hitler, claiming that he had invented things that [Ye] uses in the modern day, like highways and even the microphone.
Jones, though, didn’t seem to agree. He said: “Nazis were thugs and did really bad things.”
Ye had a different opinion. He hit back by saying: “But [he] did good things too. We gotta stop dissing the Nazis all the time… I love Nazis.”
Thursday’s livestream sparked immediate condemnation from the Republican Jewish Coalition, which dubbed the three men “a disgusting triumvirate of conspiracy theorists, Holocaust deniers, and antisemites”.
It’s not as if Ye doesn’t have friends in high places. Ye and Fuentes had dinner last Saturday with former President Donald Trump, sparking an uproar but little condemnation from Trump’s Republican Party.
