South Africa’s Nomzamo Mbatha is living in the US and having the time of her life!
The actress landed a presenting gig at a star-studded event at the weekend when she co-hosted the Global Citizen Vax Live Concert 2021 at the packed Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The event was aimed at driving home the message of vaccination and to urge faster and more even global vaccinations.
Nomzamo posted a five second video on her Twitter and Instagram accounts showing her sharing the stage with Prince Harry at the event, which was also attended by Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck and Sean Penn.
During the concert, where strict covid protocols were observed, US President Joe Biden sent a video message urging the G7 governments to share excess doses and asked corporate business to donate funds for the acquisition of doses.
The show will air on television and YouTube this coming Friday.
Things have fallen nicely into place for Nomzamo, who moved to Los Angeles late last year.
She raised South Africa’s flag higher when she landed a role in Coming 2 America, working alongside Eddie Murphy.
When she’s not busy with acting, she has her hands full managing her philanthropic Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation.
