The 1997 classic Titanic will return to big screens this Valentine’s Day in a remastered 3D 4K HDR format for its 25th anniversary.
But fans of the famous tear-jerker have found themselves just a little bit distracted by Kate Winslet’s hair in the new poster.
James Cameron’s beloved characters Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater – played by movie stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet – share the space in a warm embrace.
However, Kate’s contrasting hairstyles on either side will instantly grab your attention. It’s loose straight waves in one half and curled up on the other.
Was it simply a photo editing hiccup? Or could it be a reflection of her character in the film — a shackled socialite who is able to let go as she finds true love?
Whichever way you see it, it certainly has got people talking.
The 11 Academy Award-winning masterpiece is currently the third highest-grossing film of all time and opens once again in South African cinemas on Friday 10 February.
