Reality TV star Mpumi ‘Mrs Mops’ Mophatlane has hit back at rumours that her marriage is in trouble.
Mrs Mops, who appears in The Mommy Club, says she’s still deeply in love with her husband, Isaac, after 15 years of marriage.
“There’s always rumours that I am leaving my husband … it’s not true. I’m here, and I’m here for life. I’m in love with my baby daddy,” she said.
The 38-year-old shared some marriage tips in a new YouTube video. She says couples need to be patient with each other as they grow and change.
“When you get married, you are one thing, and sometimes you grow apart and then come back together again because people are different and people change. If you stay the same person that you were ten years ago, you would not be growing, so just be patient with each other, and constantly communicate with each other.”
In 2020, Brinnette Seopela claimed Mrs Mops had been unfaithful, but Mrs Mops says these claims were lies spread because she’s famous.
“When you’re in the limelight, people say things about you that are not true. It’s just so bad,” she said.
“I’ve been married the longest in my group. I have been married for 15 years, and I’m a dedicated wife and mother. And that’s something I take pride in.”
