A monster dust storm smashed into Upington on Saturday, sending a wave of storm clouds and dust across the Northern Cape town.
As children and dogs scattered to get out of its path, the arrival of the fast-moving wall of dust was captured by stunned onlookers on their mobile phones.
Dust storms usually come before rain in the arid Northern Cape.
“Some phenomenal storm structures today over the Northern Cape,” said Storm SA.
