  • Mihlali Ndamase says a man she rejected has followed her and shown up at her work and public places.
  • She denies online claims about a hotel lawsuit and says false stories are harming her safety and reputation.

Media personality and businesswoman Mihlali Ndamase has shared a public statement saying she fears for her safety and that of her family.

She claims she is being harassed and stalked by a man whose romantic advances she rejected. The statement was shared on her social media accounts.

Ndamase says she has personally seen the man following her. She says he has appeared at her place of work without reason and shown up in public spaces where she was parked or seated.

She says this made her feel as if her movements were being watched.

Ndamase also claims her privacy has been violated many times. She says members of her family have been approached in public. She also alleges that people were paid to follow her and take photos without her consent.

The statement comes shortly after she launched her luxury boutique called Treasury. The store is based in Sandton.

Despite the business launch, Ndamase has again found herself trending online. This follows claims on blogs that she is suing a hotel for taking photos of her with a married man.

She has denied these claims. She says the reports are false and have caused serious harm to her reputation. She also says the rumours have added to her safety concerns.

Ndamase says some media publications repeated the claims without checking if they were true.

She also recently spoke out on X about the misuse of her images using artificial intelligence tools. She said she does not give consent for her photos to be edited.

She says her images were changed online, including her clothes and hair, without her permission.

Ndamase says she is now seeking legal advice. This is to deal with the alleged harassment and the spread of false information.
